The Shedd Aquarium is offering 17 free days in what’s left of 2019.
The Shedd Aquarium will teach your kiddos all about what it’s like to be Under The Sea, cue Sebastian from The Little Mermaid!
Each year the Shedd offers free resident days, which allows any Illinois Resident with a valid ID receive free admission into the museum.
While FREE is everyone’s favorite word, know that a lot of people will be taking advantage of this great opportunity. You do not want to pack up the kids, get all the way downtown and not be able to enter because they are at capacity.
I suggest reserving your free admission ahead of time. You can do that online. A $3 transaction fee applies to Illinois Free Day tickets reserved online. This helps ensure access to as many neighbors as possible by validating orders.
Your free admission will include all of the permanent exhibits, aquatic presentation and the seasonal Stingray Touch. If you are interested in the 4-D Experience, admission is a $4.95 upgrade for all guests.
