Details Announced for the 16th Annual LEGO Train Show in Wheaton

The holiday tradition is coming to Cantigny Park on Saturday, December 14th and Sunday, December 15th.

Every child, and child at heart, loves both trains and LEGOs. This LEGO show is HUGE and a fantastic sight to see.

The Northern Illinois LEGO Train Club produces the event. They are an adult LEGO enthusiast group of 25 active members. They build, design and display creations for the public and members are encouraged to create in whatever genre they love: town, space, castle, etc. The different build areas are connect by, you guessed it, a train display!

The NILTC’s Christmas LEGO Train Show has become a main attraction at Cantigny Park. It started as a show to hopefully bring patrons into the park while the weather was cold, but it has transformed into a major event. This isn’t your average LEGO show! You’ll see GIANT builds featuring nature, city spaces, popular characters and of course, a train.

This year’s show will be both Saturday and Sunday at Cantigny Park’s Visitors Center. It’s located at 1s151 Winfield Road in Wheaton. It is a FREE event with $5 paid parking per vehicle.

This is a great event to inspire young minds to build and create!

It’s also worth mentioning that visitors are encouraged to bring a new and unwrapped toy for the Marine Toys for Tots drop off boxes. If you bring a toy, the $5 parking fee is waived!
