Expect road closures during filming for “Next – Season 1” on Tuesday, November 5th in Glen Ellyn.
It’s not everyday you get a hot pink piece of paper on your porch explaining that roads near you will be closed for filming. I wondered what the large construction signs were for while driving down Sheehan explaining a short term closure on Tuesday, now I know!
Random Productions, LLC will be filming scenes for the series titled “Next – Season 1” in the early hours.
This is expected to close traffic near Glen Crest Middle School, which thankfully has a Teacher’s Institute Day! Whew!
The following roads will be closed on November 5:
- Full closure of Sheehan from Ellyn to Park Blvd 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Brief Intermittent closure on Park Blvd. from Lowden to Marston

I was very curious to see what this series would be about, but a brief (and very brief, I have a toddler for crying out loud) search came up short. I did however find Random Productions, LLC listed on IMDb.
They have produced some shorts which I think I would like! One is called “One Man’s Trash” which is a mockumentary about yard sales in which a diverse group of yard sale fanatics are interviewed. Sounds hilarious.
Another I’d love to see is “Ugly Naked People” which is a comedy short. I don’t have much more information than that, but I feel like I can relate.
I can’t wait to see where “Next – Season 1” will end up, and to see the finished product!
