The Wheaton French Market is located at East Liberty Drive and South Cross Street in Wheaton. It’s open at 8 a.m. on Saturdays, which is great to sneak in while the kids are awake and not ready for nap time! It closes at 2 p.m. The Wheaton French Market runs from April 13 – November 9, 2019.
It’s a beautiful market full of amazing breads, handmade goods, produce, flowers and more. At first glance and on my first visit, I wasn’t sure if my toddler would enjoy it as much as I did.
Boy was I wrong! Pack a wagon, the kids and print the list and head to the Market!
DOUGHNUTS!
Grab delicious doughnuts! What kid wouldn’t want to have a face full of sprinkles early in the morning to start their day?
COOKIES!
If doughnuts aren’t their thing. How about a cookie? Bonus points because there are Gluten Free and Vegan options, too!
VISIT THE LIBRARY!
I don’t have to go into detail on all of the benefits of getting children involved in reading. You already know that. But do you have a library card for your little one?
POPCORN!
Need a mid-morning snack? Make sure to grab a bag of delicious Kettle corn!
STUFFED ANIMALS!
Look how adorable these stuffed animals are! Adults can snuggle with them too, right?
GAMES!
Do you see what I see? Look at all of those awesome games for the kiddos!
LIVE MUSIC!
Sometimes at the Wheaton French Market, you’ll hear the sweet sounds of music filling the air. No better way to enjoy your snacks and new finds by listening to live music. It truly heals the soul.
LUNCH!
Now that you’ve been cruising around, the kids are probably in need of lunch. PB&J is what kid’s dreams are made of.
Have you been to the Wheaton French Market before? If so, share with me your favorite activities with your children in the comment section below. I’d love to add it to the list!
