Get the kids on the bus, call your bestie and head to the first ever “Boo-Hoo Breakfast” at Ivy Restaurant in Wheaton to celebrate kids going back to school.
My daughter isn’t school age just yet, she’s almost three, but I’ll never forget how many tears I cried on my first day of work after maternity leave. WOW was that tough.
I know sending your littles off to school is a HUGE deal. (I’m legit getting misty-eyed thinking about sending my soon to be school age daughter off to school for the first time!)
Regardless if your tears are sad because you’ll miss them or of joy because you can’t wait for them to get out of your hair…when the kids go back to school, one Wheaton restaurant wants YOU to celebrate all of your hard work getting them there.
Wheaton’s Ivy Restaurant is hosting it’s first ever “Boo-Hoo Breakfast: Let’s Celebrate Back to School” event which is 100% kid free.
At first glance, you may think it’s for a sweet breakfast with your kiddos. Yeah, nope! It’s all about YOU!
Ivy’s Facebook event boasts bottomless mimosas, coffee, breakfast pastries, nibbles and plenty of tissue for all moms, dads, caregivers and family members.
You read that right, bottomless mimosas!
It’s $15 to join from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 22nd.
Ivy Restaurant is located at 120 N Hale Street.
So call your best friend, put on your best yoga pants and let’s do this!
